Steffi Kirchberger holds a business degree with more than eleven years of experience in IT project management and IT purchasing. During her professional career she got to know all aspects of IT project management and purchasing and managed various projects and teams. Since its foundation in 2018, she has been responsible for the business of JARO Services GmbH.
After successfully completing an apprenticeship and studying economics in Aachen, she began her career at DHL in Bonn, where she played a key role in the development of Packstation software in preparation for the Germany-wide rollout. This was followed by 3 years in consulting. She has advised leading companies in the automotive industry as well as in the telecommunications sector with regard to a sensible contract structure and target-oriented negotiation strategies for IT projects.
Back in Berlin, she helped set up the department for 3rd party software at Zalando SE and, as project manager, evaluated, negotiated and implemented various systems, including a zalandowide eProcurement solution as well as the Travel Booking and Expense solution. Later she took over the leadership of an IT project manager team and was responsible for portfolio management.
